Marco Polo is a game of hide and seek. It is great to play with children in a dark house with flashlights. The object of the game is for players to take turns hiding the phone while the game is on. The app will emit a "gong" at regular intervals to allow the "seekers" to listen quietly and hear where the sound is coming from. Once they find it and turn the game to the off mode, a score will be given based on how long it took them to find it and how many times the game made a sound. The lowest score wins. Additional features include:
- Marco Polo mode turns the microphone on and allows the users to yell Marco(or any sound). If they are close, the game will respond "Polo".
- You can set the sensitivity of the listening mode for the microphone.
- The default sound is a Chinese gong. The user can record their own voice and use it instead of the default sound.
- You can set the interval for how often the game sound is played.
- There is a game start delay setting that allows user to set the game in motion and return back to the "home base".
- The game keeps the last 10 scores with the ability to clear the list.
Known Issues:
- When you tap the score box the keypad appears and will not go away.
